When the world shifted in March 2020, Meg made the ultimate pivot to build a food community called Cook with Meg. Today, Meg brings her years of experience and talents together providing live and on-demand cooking classes for adults, families and children in four countries. Meg’s following of kitchen keeners come back, again and again, to create and cultivate their culinary cool.
Whether it’s baking something yummy, or crafting a savoury dish, Meg’s passion goes far beyond teaching people how to cook. It’s to help people relax, develop life skills, practice patience, and build self-esteem by making fun and delicious dishes in the kitchen together.
No matter where you live, Meg says everyone can connect through making and sharing food. To do that, Meg carefully designs her cooking classes and camps in ways that help people to connect with their inner chef and the people around them.
Doing classes together as a family is one of Meg’s favourite things.
Doing classes together strengthens family bonds, parent-child and sibling cooperation, and communication skills in a delightful, mouthwatering way. Her specially designed children’s classes and summer camps work to boost your child’s self-esteem and life skills by learning how to make yummy treats on their own that they can share with their friends and family over and over again.
Cook With Meg truly is for everyone. Kids, teens, adults and families! We are represented by families in 10 Canadian provinces, 26 US states and 4 countries! Meg has been featured in print, podcasts, radio and television. Meg also partners with incredible partners in the food world, such as Alberta Milk, Egg Farmers of Alberta, Salton Group and so many more.
Meg’s goal is to ensure that everyone has a chance to learn and thrive in the kitchen. No matter where you live, no matter what your skill level, we always make it work. We can grow your kitchen confidence as we welcome you into the Cook with Meg family!
