The Maritimes: Corn & Bacon Chowder- Tuesday April 26
What happens when we cook and bake our way through some of the most epic places on the globe!
A chowder is a rich, hearty soup that traditionally includes either seafood, chicken, or veggies. The word chowder is a corruption of the French chaudière (“cauldron”), and chowder may have originated among Breton fishermen who brought the custom to Newfoundland, whence it spread to Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and New England.
